What motivates you as a writer?

I have always been attracted to the task of helping others escape through whatever creative vehicle that I could. I love making people smile through the healing power of stories.
What types of books do you like to read?
​
I love fantasy, romance, adventure and a tinge of action in my novels. Some of my favorite novels would include Mark of the Lion series, Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia and many others.
How has becoming a writer affected your own reading habits?
​
I find that I love to read other people's creative visions, and I get just as lost as I ever did before writing my own novels, but then again I have always been a writer. So, reading the written word has always been a necessity to strengthening my own craft and because I am a writer myself, I find that I am very forgiving when it comes to the artistic vision of others.
