What motivates you as a writer?

When I was a little girl, I loved to read and I loved school. Would I be a teacher some day or be an author? Writing remained a sweet dream, but I was born to teach. And you know what? Now that I'm retired and fulfilliing the dream to write, I find that I'm teaching through story!

What types of books do you like to read?

Anything clean and with a good story. Experts tell us to read the genre in which we write. I do. AND I read cozy mysteries, complex literary fiction, suspense, historical, speculative...I could keep going.

How has becoming a writer affected your own reading habits?

Now that I'm a writer, I've noticed I edit while I read! It takes a little of the fun out of my favorite escape.

Still—after more than two thousand years, huge composites of the global population continue to ignore, question, and even refute the most dramatic, absolute, and everlasting intervention of Love and Grace ever bestowed upon this world. Yet, there are “Light Bearers”, ordinary believers, willing to give extraordinary testimony that defies disbelief of an Abiding Presence of “God with us.” Through relatable and true accounts you’ll vicariously experience God’s Interventions of Grace displayed in their stories of life threatening circumstances, miraculous interventions, illnesses, dangers, grief, and more. THE LIGHT BEARERS, a sequel in the series under HIS SHADOW, also brings to light the true meaning of “Amazing Grace” that’s yours for the asking. You’ll discover explicit promises available to all who, by faith, possess a relationship with Jesus Christ: the Redeemer and Light of life—the Author of Love—the Provider of daily and eternal salvation.
