What motivates you as a writer?

I love writing fun and meaningful stories that will make children smile. 

What types of books do you like to read?

Even though I’m a grown woman in my thirties, my favorite books to read are from the kid lit genre. From picture books to Young Adult, I find these books are relevant to not only children but adults too. 

How has becoming a writer affected your own reading habits?

I find that I notice things differently as a writer. I pay a lot more attention to plot, character development, word choice, etc.
